Alex Blizzy
Alex Blizzy is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who draws on roots somewhere between the rust belt and beltway, to create music steeped in the timeless lyrical and harmonic landscapes of Heartland Rock & Alt-Country, drawing comparisons to artists such as John Mellencamp, Freedy Johnston & Dawes. His self-produced debut album, "A Step Behind" was released in April 2023 & has been described as an "effortless blend of rock elements and traditional country music" (Music Taste). It received radio airplay throughout the country on College, Folk/Americana & AAA stations such as KCSB (Santa Barbara), WRCT (Pittsburgh), WMSE (Milwaukee) & WMOT (Nashville), and charted as high as #18 in Roots Music Report's "Roots Rock" chart.
